I feel confident that my editorial already clearly defeats the majority of my opponent's points so I won't reiterate my original argument. Instead I will detail a specific inaccuracy due to Kerry's wrong ideology's. I'm going to try to prove my feelings on the following quote from the first presidential debate on September 30th, 2004. "Smart means not diverting your attention from the real war on terror in Afghanistan against Osama Bin Laden and taking it off to Iraq where the 9/11 Commission confirms there was no connection to 9/11 itself and Saddam Hussein, and where the reason for going to war was weapons of mass destruction, not the removal of Saddam Hussein." - John Kerry

This statement just continues to show how much John Kerry truly does not understand the situation at hand. It is unbelievable that someone can be so naive to think these things are true. Lets just pick this apart. "...not diverting your attention from the real war on terror in Afghanistan against Osama Bin Laden,' Kerry shows he is fixated on the misconception that this war ends in Afghanistan and is only against Osama bin Laden "... taking it [The War on Terror] off to Iraq where the 9/11 Commission confirms there was no connection to 9/11 itself and Saddam Hussein...," again showing that he cant connect the fact there are many nations who help and harbor these terrorist monsters. These nations need to be removed from power to ensure that we are safer as a country. Kerry just would not be able to continue The War on Terror correctly if he can't see how nations who help terrorists need to be dealt with.

He continues to quote the 9/11 commission in an incorrect context. President Bush said that Hussein was a man who was trying to acquire WMDs and was a supporter of terrorists and their actions. This doesn't mean that we are accusing Saddam for being responsible for the 9/11 attacks. It means that he could have helped someone else to plan another attack of the same nature. If you look at the 9/11 commissions you will see, as I quoted in my 10/06/04 rebuttal, that I showed the 9/11 commission did say that there was contact with Osama and Saddam. It shows that Osama and Saddam, prior to 9/11, had talks and offers of assistance. This clearly proves that Saddam was willing to support terrorists. "...where the reason for going to war was weapons of mass destruction, not the removal of Saddam Hussein..." Again John Kerry proves his ignorance of the situation. First of all Kerry also believed that Saddam did indeed have WMDs that's why he voted for the war to begin with. Even if there were no WMDs, Saddam Hussein's ability to aid and abet terrorists was a WMD in my opinion. The fact that it is proven in the latest WMD report on Iraq that Hussein was waiting for sanctions to be taken away and then try to acquire WMDs. This is why more time would not have helped the situation. He wanted the time to make everyone think he was a good dictator so that he then could go out under the curtain of deception and purchase WMDs to do with what he felt like. Then we would have another country where the problem would be escalated by the addition of WMDs. The fact is that we did the correct thing in Iraq in taking Saddam out. This is a continuation of the war on terror, not a diversion from it. We are removing places that terrorists can call home. In doing this we are making the world a better and safer place.

My opponent and John Kerry continue to show each week that they truly do not understand the big picture here. Their hatred for president Bush and his ideology's blind them from having the foresight to see that what we are doing in the War on Terror is right.
