In the next few weeks, numerous clubs and Student Activities will be sponsoring fun and interesting events for Manhattan College students to attend.
Sunday November 21 Students are invited to learn improvisation comedy techniques taught by UCB Theater at the Box.
Monday November 22 at 9 pm is the long awaited Irish Night and Rory Dolans. Sponsored by the MC Gaelic Society, a room will be rented at Rory's with a DJ and drinking for students 21 and older. Transportation to and from Rory's will be available.
Also on Monday November 29th, the Marketing Class (Funded by Student Activities) will be sponsoring a NBC Studio tour.
Catch the Broadway Production of "Avenue Q" on Wednesday, December 1st. Tickets can be purchased at the Student Activities Office,
On December 2nd, 3rd and 4th, watch Manhattan College students perform non-traditional Christmas carols and Broadway selections at the seasonal Christmas Cabaret at 8 pm, in the Box.
Social Life is sponsoring a trip to see the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center on Friday, December 3rd. Seats are reserved for about 30 to 50 students, and the cost is 3 dollars.
Also on Friday, from 5 pm to 7 pm, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is sponsoring a Comedy Club/Happy Hour at Platos Cave. All ages are welcome, 21 to drink. Later that night from 9 pm to 1 am, the Alpha Sigma Beta fraternity is sponsoring a dance at Cornyn's Restaurant in Yonkers.
If you're into video games, then head to the Jasper Lounge at 12 pm for the Microcon Tournament sponsored by the Games Club.
If any of these activities appeal to you and you would like to sign up or get some more information, head down to the Student Activities office in Thomas Hall, room (???).
