When he spoke about playing for Manhattan he stated, "It feels good because at times I thought I wouldn't even make it to college and now to be doing well, it feels so good." Anderson talked about hopefully being able to play professional basketball and stated that anyone who picks up a ball dreams of playing professionally. With everything that is going on he feels that being able to play for Manhattan is more than he could have ever imagined. Anderson appreciates every moment putting all of his energy into every game and playing as if it were his last.

Basketball, however, is not the only game he is familiar with and shockingly it is not his favorite sport. Anderson talked a little about his childhood and said, "Football is my favorite sport; I played when I was younger but I broke my thumb and I had gotten better in basketball." Judging by the stats, it does not seem as if anyone is upset about that.

But wait one second! Basketball is not the only thing Anderson is doing some great things with; he and his best friend co-own a record label called Well Established Entertainment. Music is an important aspect of Anderson's life. Before a game, music helps him get focused and energized.

"I just listen to music to get me going a little bit. Lil' Wayne is always a good pre-game music."

Anderson has some amazing accomplishments under his belt and this is only his first year. One can only imagine what the next three years will bring. Just remember, the next time you go watch a game check out #15, C.J. Anderson. You never know what else he might bring to the court and you just never know what you might witness next.
